Nuclear disaster heroes and heroines

Many men and women have put their lives on the line because they believe in whatever they do is right and good for the practice. Bravery and Courage. I envy those who are selfless and are prepared to die because something inside is so strong. They believe working and serving others is more important than their lives. Those who want to stop it now.. Those who know that they can go into situations and come out “more than bruised“. Those who are sacrificing for the good of the practice but not for external rewards.

Those we call heroes and heroines. Those in the face of death are prepared to engage with insurmountable problems for they have this burning desire to be righteous and do good to others. Those in the wake of hazardous radioactive radiation are prepared to get exposed to life threatening dosages and exposures because they believe they can make differences in the lives of their fellow countrymen by stopping the impossible. Those who go that the extra mile. Those who have the courage to think beyond themselves. Those who are prepared to leave family behind and die for their country. Those who leave their families at the break of dawn and know at sunset they may return home lifeless in body bags or sick. But deep down knowing they were doing it for their country and society at large.

Those who offer that extra thread of courage. I am referring to the genuine people like the Fukushima-daiichi -nuclear plant – disaster workers who have given everything to STOP the nuclear melt down.

Heads up.

It seems that rich people, businessmen and directors, all used their money to flee to safer places – while most remained behind. Of course that this is something called the human essence – to be able to confront whatever comes your way, accepting situations like these and not complain. They all have my respect. Thanks for this post. 🙂

Those who are fleeing will be judged by history and future generations as cowards. Thanks Gratian.
